There was once in my life where I was filled with people who were actually looking forward to their lives. We were young, fresh but most of all, ready. They say its a beautiful world out there but I am just not feeling it right now. I don't know if being here, this life, this time, this age, this feeling is just another phase. Because, like most, I've been through many phases and somehow I can't come up with any good advices when I am asked. I don't know why.

Sometimes I feel like an idiot, being pessimistic at such a young age. I should be out there, tasting life, taking up challenges. But I am just not feeling it and I am not sure if I want it. I feel like I have been through all that when I haven't. Well, at least, not enough.

Sometimes, I wish my life is all planned out. Don't care if its boring or not. Facing with uncertainties is one of the worst crap you can come across. Everything is a wonder. Everything is about waiting. You're neither here nor there. You're nowhere. And time is sometimes like a pressure because you want to get somewhere and you don't want to wait because you're sick of being here, being lost and seeing others moving forward and you're here, still just here.

I am not much of a risk taker. Not with my life, I'm not. But I am not careful either. If I am, I am quite sure I won't be here, typing out all these feelings.

Something to know about MONO
The band, formed in the autumn of 1996 in London, consisted of singer Siobhan de Maré and Martin Virgo on keyboards, synthesizer programming, and production.

Virgo, trained in classical piano at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, had been working as a session musician since the early 1990s as part of the production team of Nellee Hooper, which led to credits on a remix of Massive Attack's "Unfinished Sympathy" (considered one of the landmark songs of trip hop's "Bristol sound") and Björk's 1993 album Debut.

De Maré comes from a family with several generations of history in entertainment; her father was Tony Meehan, drummer for the Shadows, her grandfather was one of the Gongmen featured in the opening logo sequences in Rank Organisation films, and her grandmother was a dancer who worked with Shirley Bassey.

The two were introduced to each other while in London in pursuit of their respective musical projects: Virgo was in the midst of a break in session work, while de Maré had been planning to set up a personal recording studio in Paris.

The band signed a UK-only contract at first with Echo Records, passing up labels like Warner, Island, and London. Their first release, in 1996, was an EP of the song "Life in Mono" and various remixes, most notable of these being two by the Propellerheads, a popular big beat band and remix group at the time. This was followed by the Formica Blues album in 1997.

Now at the height of their popularity, Mono embarked on their only concert tour. After a quiet period, however, the band broke up in 2000. De Maré now sings for Violet Indiana featuring Robin Guthrie of the group Cocteau Twins; later, in 2004, she recalled feeling "creatively stifled" as part of Mono. Violet Indiana has released a number of singles, two albums and a singles collection. More recently, de Maré also founded Pearl Dust, a music management company. Virgo joined International Love Corporation, an unsigned rock band promoted through MySpace and CD Baby, as keyboardist.

Jealousy

Jealousy is a familiar experience in human relationships. It has been observed in infants five months old and older. Some claim that jealousy is seen in every culture; however, others claim jealousy is a culture-specific phenomenon.


Jealousy as an emotion or the impact of jealousy has been a theme of many novels, songs, poems, films and other artistic works. It has also been a topic of interest for scientists, artists, and theologians.
Psychologists have proposed several models of the processes underlying jealousy and have identified factors that result in jealousy.
Sociologists have demonstrated that cultural beliefs and values play an important role in determining what triggers jealousy and what constitutes socially acceptable expressions of jealousy.
Biologists have identified factors that may unconsciously influence the expression of jealousy. Artists have explored the theme of jealousy in photographs, paintings, movies, songs, plays, poems, and books. Theologians have offered religious views of jealousy based on the scriptures of their respective faiths.

Jealousy is state of fear or suspicion about losing something or someone important. As observed by Rouchefoucauld in his Maxims, the experience of jealousy can last much longer than that of a basic emotion like anger, without losing its original intensity, and may outlast the attachment that initiated it: "Jealousy is always born with love; it does not always die with it."

The word stems from the French jalousie, formed from jaloux (jealous), and further from Low latin zelosus (full of zeal), in turn from the Greek word ζήλος (zēlos), sometimes "jealousy", but more often in a good sense "emulation, ardour, zeal" (with a root connoting "to boil, ferment"; or "yeast").

Occasionally, I'll write those words on my FB status or YM shoutout.

But then, often people misinterpret these words. Often they'd assumed that I'm all mushy and missing my boyfriend like hell.. And then came the cliche comments, "Get married la.. U'll get to see him everyday.. ".

Hahaha. No lah my hunnehh.. That's not what I meant.

I miss my family. Ohh yes I do. I only get to see them at least once a month.
Ok don't ask me why I didn't bother to go back to JB every single week. That's something you rich people will never understand.

And it's not that I don't miss my bf, I do too. But I get to see him almost every-single-day. So no big deal there.
